Our signature BURN-45 class is a fun & challenging, calorie burning, functional movement high intensity class that will make you stronger, faster and leaner.
Originally called our Kettlebell Plus class, it is constantly varied HIIT (high intensity interval training) and may include rowing machines, medicine balls, box jumps and dumbbells to name a few, but will always include Kettlebells along with various bodyweight movements.
Why Kettlebells? We have a strong history of using this versatile strength and cardio tool ever since we first began using Kettlebells back in 2009. At that time Kettlebells were just gaining popularity and many people were not familiar with them. After experiencing Kettlebells and their benefits ourselves, we knew we had to introduce them to our clients. We first gained certification with Agatsu – one of the pioneers and the most respected certification course in Canada. To this day, many of our instructors still obtain this top-level certification.
We then outfitted our studio with Kettlebells and our journey, and our clients’ journey, with them began. We have literally taught thousands of people how to use Kettlebells safely and effectively over the years, and our regular clients will attest to their effectiveness. Kettlebell training is a perfect blend of strength training and cardiovascular endurance training, and has been proven to rev up your metabolism while building long lean muscle fiber unlike anything else.
Over the years this signature class has evolved to include more equipment which really varies the workouts – keeping things interesting while providing a safe and well-rounded, challenging and intense workout. Group fitness training will take your fitness to the next level – helping to push you in a fun and welcoming environment.
What really makes the difference is our top-level coaches – they are all athletes themselves who have invested significant time in gaining the experience and knowledge to effectively lead a class that may include participants with multiple different levels of fitness and ability. Due to our coaches’ expertise, we can have beginners and experts in the same class and they will ensure that beginners receive the attention and training they require while also keeping things challenging and interesting for the seasoned athlete.

Our signature calorie BURNing 45 min class offers a mixture of skills building and high intensity interval training (HIIT) making for both a fun and challenging experience. The intensity of the session can be modified by using different sizes of kettlebells/dumbbells or by reducing the number of repetitions. For this reason beginners and those with experience can participate in the same class.
You can expect to use a variety of equipment such as wall balls, slam balls & rowers to name a few. BURN-45 training will build long lean muscles, improve strength and power in the upper body, core and lower body and increase co-ordination, joint mobility and overall cardiovascular endurance.
