With a degree in kinesiology, a vast athletic background, and years of coaching experience under her belt, Alex’s primary goal as a personal trainer is to leave her clients feeling confident and more capable than ever before, both mentally and physically. Specializing in exercise psychology, Alex will not only ensure that your movements and technique are flawless, but emphasizes doing fitness that is fun and goal-oriented. Alex has a positive and supportive coaching attitude, allowing you to explore and push your personal limits. She firmly believes that everyone has unlimited potential and simply needs the right environment to thrive. Alex is currently studying for her Certified CrossFit Coach (Level 3) exam as well as her registered kinesiologist exam.

Below Dustin’s laid-back, ever-friendly vibe is an intensity and drive that is equal parts infectious and fun. Dustin began his movement journey studying martial arts, going on to compete in Full Contact Kickboxing and K1 before becoming a licensed cornerman with Muay Thai Ontario. He then began to teach as well, first focusing on martial arts and kickboxing and then adding Kettlebell and CrossFit to his repertoire. Dustin can blend his various specialties along with his innate artistic flair to create powerful, flowing movement. Whether you want to explore some one-on-one boxing or kickboxing pad work, or you have more traditional fitness goals, Dustin’s unique experience and expertise will make your fitness journey interesting, fulfilling and rewarding.

Kathryn is an extremely talented multi-disciplinary athlete having completed certifications in CrossFit, Yoga, Pilates, Kettlebell and Thai Massage. Her boundless positive energy and enthusiasm charges every group class and personal session she leads. Kathryn knows how to bring fun into her sessions, and at the same time draw upon her various skills to ensure that learning and performance improvement will be realized at every step in your training program. She continues to expand her knowledge on health and wellness by regularly taking new courses, and she also enjoys travelling to try new CrossFit gyms in different cities whenever possible, as each gym offers something unique. She has trained new yoga teachers, worked with GB Olympic athletes and has been featured in Vogue.

Marc is a movement specialist extraordinaire and is excited to translate his significant knowledge and energy into helping you reach your goals. Hailing from New Brunswick, Marc is fluent in both official languages and happy to conduct sessions in either one.

One of Energia's longest serving teachers, he began his career as a fitness coach in 2006 and since that time has earned certifications in Spinning and CrossFit, as well as being an integral part of Energia's Kettlebell coaching team. Marc possesses an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and incredible focus and drive when it comes to his own personal fitness journey as well. He has become an expert in calisthenics & gymnastics, which can be demonstrated in his gravity-defying hand-balancing and human-pole movement abilities among others. Marc is an authentic, attentive, engaging and curious individual who thrives on helping others by sharing his talents and abilities. He believes in moving, moving well and moving repeatedly, and will tailor a customized program just for you, then guide you along your chosen path.
